+After many frustrating hours, the **Haas Oil Retrofit is almost complete.** Today, we'll put the way covers back on, then wait 24 hours for the sealant to set. Tomorrow we can re-tram the vice and we're back in business!

-The **Trotec laser cutter has been repaired.** A flange that holds the compressed air line sheared. We made a replacement flange with the waterjet and reattached the compressed air line. Please pay extra attention to your cuts for the next week or so and email bdincau@ucsb.edu if you notice anything out of the ordinary.

+The **waterjet is back**. After disconnecting, draining, then reconnecting the pump, the pressure came back up and stabilized. If you use the waterjet in the next few weeks, please pay attention to the flow rate. If it drops dramatically, accompanied by a water-hammer sound, please pause the cut and contact the lab manager.

+The **waterjet is currently down.** The pump pressure is low and the pump is vibrating in an unhealthy way. We are working to restore the tool asap.
