+The ShopBot Desktop CNC Router is a small computer controlled vertically mounted router that is set up similar to a CNC milling machine. Sized between the Carbide 3D and the Haas CNC mill located in the microfluidics lab, the shop bot lacks the rigidity of its bigger brother but is still well suited for cutting wood, plastic, and even softer metals with a shallow depth of cut and conservative feed rates.
